"Darn tootin'," I say.
But it's pretty clear why too: I finished three pink projects in a row. (I do have other yarn colors in my stash, I promise.)
I liked this pair of gloves so much, I made a second pair. The pattern, once I figured it out, was quite easy and the shells look quite sharp in person.
I will admit I picked this last yarn because it was 1) in my price range, 2) the right weight, and 3) the shop had enough in stock for my project, but I think I'll enjoy this cheery scarf very much when it's dreary and blue this winter.
I haven't posted in awhile, primarily because I've been travelling. First there's the getting ready to go, then the fun of being gone, then the less-than-fun of coming back and having to unpack.
I spent a few days in the northwest, visiting Seattle and Victoria, BC. I was in Seattle for work, but I did get to sneak away a few times to see Pike Place Market, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the Space Needle, and other attractions.
Victoria was beautiful. I enjoyed wandering through the Empress Hotel, attending Question Period at the BC legislature, visiting Munro's bookstore, and much more.
The weather was gorgeous the entire time I was in town. 5 stars, will definitely visit again.
